Overcoming Brain Cancer With The Trivedi Effect

Brain cancer is said as a brain tumor, in which cancer cells take place in the brain tissue and these cancer cells grow to form a mass of tissue that obstruct the functioning of the brain. It may cause muscle control, weaker memory, sensation and other normal functions of the body. There are many different types of brain tumors are found, some are noncancerous i.e. benign, and some are cancerous i.e. malignant. The cancer cells that originate from the brain tissue are called primary brain tumors, whose severity can easily identified by the doctors and not considered as more dangerous. On the other hand, tumors that do not spread to other body sites and surrounding tissues are called as malignant, more serious and life threatening.

The exact cause of brain tumors is still unknown, there are some known risk factors for children who get radiation to the head may have a higher chance of developing a brain tumor in comparison to adults. Certain rare genetic conditions may also consider as a cause of brain tumor. Other reasons may include environmental toxins, HIV infection, cigarette smoking and so on. These reasons may link to cancers of the brain, but no clear cause can be shown yet. The severity largely depends on how quickly a brain tumor grows and this growth rate and the location of the tumor determines that how it will impact the functioning of the nervous system. So its treatment options also depend on the type of brain tumor as well as the size and location of the tumor.

The symptoms of brain cancer also vary and depends on the level of tumor that often include weakness, headaches, difficulty in walking, seizures, blurry vision, vomiting, nausea, mental capacity, loss of memory, difficulty in speech and so on. The test of this cancer can be done by the physical examination, CT or MRI brain scan and the brain tissue biopsy. The treatments usually include surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. These treatments may either be used individually or in combination, depends on the tumor. Although, there are some side effects of all the treatments, so it is essential to understand clearly the potential side effects and their expected prognosis.
